Our Loser Hockey Pool is the most popular, but we do have other options. Almost all of the legwork is prior to the pool starting, sending out invites and collecting entry fees (which you can track on the site). Once the pool has started, there really isn’t much to do until the pool is over and you have to make the payout. Hockey playoff pools are limited only by the imagination of the organizer. You can have a traditional bracket that requires participants to simply pick each series winner correctly, or award points based on the statistics of individual players. Virtual Tour

Follow the steps below and you should be able to setup your hockey pool, call your friends and enjoy the hockey season.

Our website is geared towards handling all of the tedious stat collecting that goes along with hosting a hockey pool.

In particular - keeping track of who is in your pool - providing an online draftroom so you and your far away friends

can get online and talk about hockey as well as pick your players for your hockey pool in real time.

There are 2 logins for every hockey pool created. One for the Administrator of your hockey pool and one for everyone else who is part of the pool.

The Administrator can add/delete/update your pool rules, players and picks at anytime during the season.

Changes take effect immediately.

The 'Guest' login allows everyone who is part of the pool to view the statistics and of course trash talk each other.

Probably the most important part of creating a hockey pool is making sure you have your Hockey Pool Start and End dates entered correctly.

These dates determine when points start accumulating and when the pool is officially over. We default these

dates to the official dates of the playoff/regular season for you. You will most likely not have to change them.

1. Click the tab at the top of the home page called 'Create Your HockeyPool'.

Enter all of the necessary information to setup your hockey pool. If you have a question about setting the rules

Online Hockey Pool

of your pool...put your mouse over the question mark which is near the rule and it will pop up a little window and explain

how that rule works.

Example Rule:'Players are Gone once Picked' Yes or No

If you click 'yes' then the rule is that when someone in your pool chooses a hockey player,

this player becomes unavailable for others in your pool to pick.

Click 'No' if you want people in your hockey pool to be able to take the same players.

2. After completing your hockey pool setup by clicking on the button on the bottom of the 'create your pool' page.

You will get an EMAIL! Look for this email.

In the email - You will need to click on a link that will activate your newly created hockey pool.

Otherwise you will not be able to log in and finish setting up your hockey pool.

Once you click on the link in the email - you can proceed to login to your pool via the home page.

3. To login into your pool - type your hockey pool name in the 'Hockey Draft Login' box on the home page.

Use the ADMINISTRATOR password you created in order to setup your hockey pool.

The GUEST password is for the other people in your hockey pool. It is for viewing purposes only.

Do NOT give out the administrator password unless you want those people to be able to modify

your hockeypool setup.

4. When you log in to your pool with the Administrator password you will have options available to modify your pool.

Namely - you can add people or 'entrants' to your hockey pool. You can also modified your hockey pool setup.

Once you have setup all of the 'entrants' in your hockeypool. You can select which NHL players each of your entrants wants.

You may want to pick your hockey pool in our online Draftroom in real time.

Office Hockey Pools

To create your draftroom - click on the DRAFTROOM tab on the main page and create your own private draftroom.

Once your draftroom is created, you will receive an email to verify it's creation. Make sure you click on the LINK in this email to

activate your draftroom. You can then let everyone in your hockey pool know your draftroom name and password.

Once in your online draftroom, entrants in your pool can view the hockey pool by logging into the bottom login box with their GUEST password.

This allows them to see who else is in your pool and what players they are picking.

You, as the Administrator, can log into the pool with the Administrator password so that you can modify the pool during the Draftroom discussion.

5.You can check your pool daily (even during the games) to see points awarded to those in your pool.

Let everyone in your Hockey Pool know the Pool Name you have created and the GUEST password.

This is all they need in order to log in and see the hockey pool.

We try to update the points every 30 minutes during the games. This time will vary depending on internet traffic, etc.

Be patient...you will get every point you deserve.

Sometimes points are awarded to the wrong players...these mistakes are rare but don't worry they will be corrected at some point.

Also we get our stats from various websites...so sometimes their statistics are wrong.

We verify every point with multiple websites to obtain the best possible validation.

You as the administrator can adjust the pool at any time. Not that you need to - rather we like you to have as much control of your pool as possible.

Most pools are setup early and never adjusted.

The start and end dates are the most important. They determine when points start to be awarded.

So if there is a late start of your pool - just change the start date and points will only be awarded from that date forward.

Enjoy!
